We are currently renovating a former canteen portacabin to be a new making and mending space. This will be a space for informal peer learning activities as well as accredited training. This will include:

Wood Working

Bike Maintenance

Repair Shop

Crafts, Sewing, knitting and Crochet

Group Walks and Cycles

If you would like to be involved get in touch! We are particularly looking for people how would have a skill they would like to share.

Timetable

Tuesdays 10am -2pm Woodwork Workshop Drop In

This is a time that new people can come along and get involved. You will be shown around and given an introduction to the work eg safety rules and the opportunity to work as a team on joint projects , at the moment this is mostly woodwork from recycled wood. You don’t have to have any experience to come.

Wednesdays 10am -1.30pm Bike Maintenance and Repair

Does your bike need a little TLC? Do you have a bike you would like to donate to be fixed up for a good cause? Get i touch with us!

Thursdays 10:30 – 12pm Knitting and Crochet Club

This is a sociable group for experienced crafters and total beginners. The first project we will work on are crochet poppies for a remembrance day. People are also welcome to work on their own projects.
